Answers to common questions about setting up scrims, tryouts, teams, organizations and using Find Scrims.
Find Scrims helps competitive teams post and confirm scrims, run tryouts, and manage rosters in one place. Players can discover teams and tryouts; captains can list matches, track attendance, and hold no-shows accountable.
New accounts go through a short onboarding wizard: handle and region first, then at least one game role or staff discipline. If you have a pending team invite, finish setup and respond from your dashboard. After onboarding you'll land on profile edit to add optional details before browsing scrims.
Most actions require a completed profile. Finish onboarding with your handle, name, date of birth, region, and at least one game role or staff discipline. Until then, browsing is limited and create buttons stay disabled.
After onboarding, open Teams from the app menu and create a team. You'll invite players, set roles, and can post scrims or tryouts from the team workspace.
Accept a team invite from your dashboard, or apply to public recruiting teams from the player directory. You need a completed profile before joining.
Create or join a team first, then open Scrims and choose Post scrim. Set game, time, rank range, and map preferences. Other teams can request your listing; you confirm the opponent before match time.
Browse Scrims or Explore scrims, pick a listing that fits your team, and send a request. The listing team confirms you as the opponent. You need a team and a complete profile to request.
Teams post tryouts from the scrim marketplace. Players apply or receive invites, then see status on the dashboard tryout hub (reply needed, awaiting decision, or outcome). Staff evaluate sessions and record pass/fail outcomes.
